This is lovely David - well presented and detailed. What I would like you to do now is to work on bringing in some specific terminology when describing the examples from the film: talk about the position of the camera, the shot type and any interesting edits. Also when talking about repetition of realness and sameness remember that estates and canals are all of Britain and so although the audience may not recognise them as being something they've specifically visited before, they will have preconceived ideas about the behaviour associated with living there and so will expect certain things from the teenagers. But otherwise this is great. Well written.
